Available Services
Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM) is a specialty committed to evaluating patients as a whole person – “body, mind, and spirit” – to help them achieve optimal wellness through treatment of the neuromusculoskeletal system. Structure and function of the body and its systems are closely interrelated, allowing osteopathic physicians to aid the patient in achieving health through primarily the use of hands-on techniques, exercise prescription, and activity modification.
While the osteopathic approach is committed to working with a holistic view of wellness and minimizing extensive or invasive intervention, providers still utilize medications, imaging, and injections when necessary. Specialists work together with primary care providers, sports medicine, pain management, physical therapists, orthopedists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, obstetricians, psychiatrists, and more to provide a 360-degree approach to the many facets of pain.

Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
Osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) consists of a wide variety of manual manipulation techniques that are largely painless and extremely gentle. These techniques are used to improve joint motion, muscle tone, connective tissue strain, and even mental/emotional wellness and organ function by addressing the autonomic nervous system. Patients of all ages and health status can benefit from an osteopathic approach. Contraindications for OMM are limited as osteopathic manipulation is non-invasive and can be safely used with even the most acutely ill and injured patients.
